Who We Are

Hel Ved Capital Management Limited is an asset management firm, established in 2019, by CIO Charlie Chai. We are headquartered in Hong Kong and regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong. We wish to be a long-term trusted partner for our stakeholders.

Domain Expert

We focus primarily on technology, media, communications, consumer discretionary companies, and selectively in companies disrupted by or adopting technology in other sectors.

We intend to drive risk-adjusted absolute returns through a bottom-up fundamental research process, focusing on key drivers of the companies and industries, and understanding the management teams well since their early days.

Investment Universe & Process

  1. Hel Ved analysts actively cover about 700 companies within roughly 1,200 companies of the Global TMT investible universe

  2. Analysts contribute catalyst driven single stock ideas to the CIO. These ideas are recorded and tracked through a combination of analyst model portfolios and ideas pool

  3. Major investment ideas are supplemented with detailed investment memorandum with respective price targets and financial models

  4. Active dialogue and intellectually honest discussions between Analysts and CIO take place to determine which ideas enter the portfolio
